Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Communications, and Structural design services for the new, $4.8 million Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) for Veterans Affairs located at Eglin. Adjacent to Eglin Hospital, this 16,713 square foot facility will provide Primary Care and Mental Health services for veterans and their families. The functional areas of this facility include administrative, clinical primary care, mental health, pharmacy, lab, security and building support type spaces.

The communications system designed for the CBOC includes a structured cabling system supporting both voice and data systems, nurse call systems, PA systems, access control and camera surveillance. The communications system also connects to the adjacent existing Eglin hospital with data and voice connectivity.
