Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. provided Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design services for the $9,025,389 Design/Build C-130J-30 Two-Bay Maintenance Hangar at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi.

The 63,500 square foot project for the 403rd Maintenance Squadron (403 MXS) provided a new, two-position maintenance Hangar for the Air Force Reserve Command’s J-30 extended model C-130 aircraft. The facility provides two fully-enclosed heated and ventilated spaces for phased (dichronal) maintenance as well as support spaces for the user’s administrative and training functions.
