The Baptist Health organization consists of five major hospitals and outpatient clinics, as well as, numerous physician offices. They are licensed for 1,582 beds and have over 7,000 employees, 6,400 PC's, and 7,200 telephone extensions. As with any long-term plan, this technology plan will need to be reviewed annually to ensure compliance with the institution's mission and goals, to identify appropriate adjustments that may arise during the course of implementation, and to address new or emergent issues and trends in the larger healthcare or IT environment. |
